ifilm English to air ‘The Transparent Night’

ifilm English website has reported that the channel is set to open a schedule for the series ‘The Transparent Night’.

The series, directed by Masoud Rashidi, will start broadcasting on February 21, 2018.

In ‘The Transparent Night’, Mr. Ahmadi finds out that his son, accused of theft, was actually innocent. He had shunned his son for a crime he hadn't committed and now his son is dead. Ahmadi has to live with the knowledge that he treated his son unfairly.

To get over his grief, his friend suggests that he allows 4 prisoners out on parole and are about his son's age to come and work on his dairy farm. So that maybe he could make amends by giving them the support he had denied his son.

The series cast list includes Kamran Tafti, Sara Khoiniha, Shahram Abdoli, Ahmad Najafi, Mehdi Solouki, Alireza Masoudi, Azita Torkashvand, Bijan Pishdadi, Shima Rastegar, and Yasmina Baher.

‘The Transparent Night’, made in 2013, is scheduled to replace the series ‘Hanieh’, which will be aired daily at 21:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the drama the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00 (all GMT times). The series is comprised of 6 episodes.
